October 21st, 2026...The Family Plot

Greetings and salutations,

October is flying by. The interior of my house isn't decorated. I'm not playing Halloween music. What's up? 

I'm hoping to get some seasonal spirit soon. I have lots of cool things that only adorn the house once a year. 

I have been listening to some of my Halloween music. Today I put on "The Family Plot" from Fleshrot: Songs from the Dead. Have a listen. 

Much of the atmos'fearics I've created have a spacial intention to them. I've walked many haunted houses and conjured up the tones and feelings that specific spaces can benefit from. Sound and music make a big difference, and when you play on aural fear, you can really get into someone's psyche. That's what haunting means to me. A silly skeleton can be terrifying when placed in the right space with the right lighting and music.
