A visit to the cemetery

On November 8th, 2005 we buried my Father's remains. Since my Dad was a Veteran he was given a military burial complete with a 21-gun salute. Last week I decided to go visit the grave to see if the marker had made it onto the site...and it had. It is a strange feeling losing a parent. It is inevitable, but when it happens it leaves such a void. I cleaned off the marker and stood there staring at it for a while. I teared up, but tears didn't fall. I felt very peaceful, but sad. I know he is in a better place, but we miss him dearly.

Monday the 13th!

Today is Monday the 13th and I thought I would surf a little - maybe find something to give ya'll. I found Thirteen Dead Kids - a site I had found in the past, but forgot about. Some interesting things to buy (via Cinder Block) and from what I can tell it is somehow connected to the band (or guy) Wednesday 13 who is allegedly the second coming of Alice Cooper. We'll see...(if they send me a CD to review maybe I'll agree.)

Whatever...just figured since it was the 13th I had to say something!
