October...Day Three...

Good evening,

Today I bring to you some music by The Ghost in You, "October". Billy Pollard is a talented artist and musician. I've written about his art and music before (here).

The artwork to the right is framed and sits on my workspace.  The pumpkin buttons are on my Nobody Records/Pumpkinland Studios jacket.
His music, artistic aesthetic and his love of Halloween is familiar to me.

"October" by The Ghost in You

"The night begins to fall,
It feels like a disease.
The leaves begin to die,
And yet I feel at ease.

October please wait for me.
October you set me free.
October you're what I need.
October you're part of me.

The day begins to fade,
And smell of burning wood.
The blues have turned to grays,
But inside I feel good.

October please wait for me.
October you set me free.
October you're what I need.
October you're part of me.

The air begins to cool,
The rays of sun descend.
The kids go back to school,
The summer's at an end,

And now the summer's dead.

October please wait for me.
October you set me free.
October you're what I need.
October you're part of me."
