October 2nd, 2022...Hocus Pocus 2

Greetings friends and fiends,

Each October I have a goal to watch as many "seasonal" movies and cartoons as possible.  Last night my wife and daughter decided they wanted to watch Hocus Pocus 2.  Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Hocus Pocus, but because the movie just hit Disney + and it's new I figured what the heck, I'll watch it.

Surprisingly enough I enjoyed it.  "Three young women accidentally bring back the Sanderson Sisters to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking havoc on the world."

If you have Disney + I recommend checking it out.  Early on I said out loud "this feels like a high school drama movie", but there was enough to keep me interested.  Will this be a "must watch" seasonal movie for me? No. I would be willing to watch it again at some point.  It wasn't "cringy" (as my kids would say).
