October 8th - fun food finds
Greetings fiends and ghouls,
One of my favorite things about the Halloween season is all of the seasonal foods and drinks available. While I try to be careful not to overdo it, I do like to pick up seasonal food and drink items.
One such item I recently found was Cheetos Bag of Bones. "New limited-edition Cheetos Bag of Bones is the perfect Halloween snack for family fun. Each spooktacular bag is filled with four skeleton-shaped Cheetos treats. These tasty skulls, ribcages, bones and paws feature white cheddar seasoning, giving consumers permission to play with their food and build their own edible skeleton." Can't go wrong with these!

I had fun making edible skeletons and they taste great too. Yes, I played with my food and plan to do so again and again!
I troll the aisles this time of year anyhow to see where the seasonal foods are placed. Stores should just have a place where Halloween geeks like me can load up on all of the craziness. My other blog (NorCal Beer Blog - here) features beer and beverage reviews so cruise over there if you're seeking information on good adult beverages to drink or serve to guests this season.
What fun foods have you picked up this season? Is there something out there that you suggest I not miss? Some food items are regional, but I like a good Halloween food or beverage hunt so suggest away.
Happy Haunting!
