First Day of Fall 2012: The Autumnal Equinox

Greetings friends and fiends,

I am so happy that as of RIGHT NOW we've just begun (drum roll please) the...First Day of Fall 2012: The Autumnal Equinox!

Fall is by far my favorite season hands down. This is due, in part, to Halloween, but I love the clear cool days and the first smell of the fire in the fireplace. I love the Fall food and drink. There is something warm about harvest time...something that warms my soul. Some of my most fond memories are of Autumn.  The joy of the return to school and football season.  The excitement as the first Halloween goods make their way into stores. Pumpkin anything and everything!

Rain Station sounds like Fall to me...warm, comforting, beautiful, breezy, crisp, earthy and a bit sorrowful. A period of maturity and the beginning decline.
Anyhow, I just thought I'd speak to my love of Fall and the change of season.
