If you know me, you know I have a particular love of pumpkins. Not sure how that happened, but it did. I'm not a pumpkin spice person, per se, but pumpkins, their vines, their leaves, the dirt...a pumpkin patch is my kind of good time.
This year we went to
Huddie's Harvest for our annual trip to the patch. They sell carving, decorating and cooking pumpkins. Huddie's also has a corn maze (which we didn't have time to explore). My family really enjoyed the "pick your own pumpkin" aspect of the patch.
With clippers in hand and a sturdy wagon we made out way through the patch and found some excellent pumpkins. Often times these pumpkin patches can cost a pretty penny, but we left feeling like we got great pumpkins at a great price.
I'm really looking forward to pumpkin carving this year.
