A funky detour... October 4th, 2025

Greetings suckas,

I had the opportunity to see Parliament Funkadelic featuring George Clinton tonight. This was my fourth time seeing them and they did not disappoint. At 84 years old, Mr. Clinton absolutely tore the roof off the mothersucker. 

Even though the show wasn't a Halloween themed event there was something about it that felt very right for October. Maybe it's the costumes that some of the band members wore.  Maybe it was the chilled air in Arcata. Nonetheless, I had a great time dancing and singing to some of my favorite funk tracks.

Although they didn't play this track...it's worth a listen.
