So here's yet another chance at shameless self promotion (gotta get it in before THE SEASON is over, right?)
I have an appended review of Fleshrot below (just for Restless Season).

Happy Halloween, Mark. In the past I would let myself get overwhelmed by momentous occasions such as this. I just wanted to have the most kick butt day, and in doing so I would try to do too much and try too hard to make things perfect. As hard as I tried, at the end of the day I still felt a little empty and unsatisfied. I've found in these times it is easiest just to let go. Let the day take you where it may. It is Halloween and that is good enough. The flickering lights from a jack-o-lantern, the smell of candy, and the cool night air is all I need. Whether I get 4 trick-or-treaters or 40, I will cherish each and every beautiful soul that comes to my door. Just stop, breath in the beautiful Halloween air and enjoy. Don't put pressure on yourself into creating the perfect day. Let go of control and let things flow. No stress, no guilt, no pressure. The Halloween spirits are looking over your shoulder so if you get overwhelmed, just take a couple deep breaths and allow yourself to lean on them for a moment. Enjoy this wall of text and and enjoy your Halloween, Mark. :)

Melissa...you're quite welcome...thank you!

Jason...

Fully agreed. I will breathe in the night air, watch my kids go house to house in search of treats, and enjoy what makes Halloween so great....seeing it through the eyes of my kids. Tonight my son carried a bucky skull all around the house. He loves the darn thing. He wanted to sleep with it...he's nearly 2 1/2.

My post on November 1st will talk about the end of October's fun...why I love Halloween so much...and this year (I start my calendar from Halloween to Halloween) will be filled with tons of treats.

My best to you Jason and to all who have shared this month with me on my blog. Keep stopping by...I'll try and make it worth your while.
