The Wolf Man (October 23rd, 2024)

Greetings and salutations,

Last night I watched the 1941 classic "The Wolf Man" starring Lon Chaney Jr. with my two youngest kids.  I've told my kids it's a must to see all of the Universal monster movies. We've gotten through only a few of them as October is always a really busy month and we rarely have a free night to watch a movie.

I'm a big fan of the sets, the cinematography and the overall vibe of the film. 

The movie was so successful that Lon Chaney Jr. played the role in four sequels. Chaney refers to the Wolf Man as his "baby". 

"Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night can become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the Autumn moon is bright"

I am hoping we can get a chance to watch some of the other Lon Chaney Jr. "Wolf Man" movies this year. I have a decent collection of Universal horror films. It's fun to see Bela Lugosi in many of these movies.  He's one of my favorite actors in the genre.
