It's always special to watch "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" every year. When I was a kid we'd have to watch the local TV Guide to see when it was going to be played on TV. My children don't understand a world where DVD, DVR, and On Demand services don't exist. It was a struggle, but a shared one and we were fortunate to have television sets. I'm happy to own a DVD copy of this so I can watch it as time allows.
What time honored Halloween traditions do YOU have in your family? Any "can't miss" movies, shows or specials?
My daughter and I watched Ghostbusters 2 after everyone else went to sleep. Tis the Season.
Just a boy and his pumpkin,

This one is a tradition for us, too. And Halloween (78) and the more modern Trick 'r Treat has become a yearly favorite.
