October...Day Twenty Eight...

Hello friends and fiends,

I spend a little time this past weekend getting a few Halloween decorations up.

Since I don't get trick-or-treaters and I'm not going to have the HUGE party that I had hoped to have I decided to go small - just enough for the family to enjoy.

I may end up decorating more since my kids seem to want to see more and more as I put them up.

I enjoy the fact that they're the ones driving this further.  Some years I'm the only one decorating so having them involved in priceless.

We got a chance to watch "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" as well.

I was shocked to learn they weren't going to be playing this on broadcast TV this year. Sad news. So glad I own it on DVD!

Are you breaking out all your things this year or are you going tame?

I've seen A LOT of cool decorations on the book of faces.

If my house wasn't such a horrible Halloween house I'd probably put up a little more, but I don't want to drive trick-or-treaters to my house this year.

We're not sure what we're doing this year on Halloween.  Such a bizarre feeling to NOT know what I'm doing.  We had high hopes for a big bash. Hopefully next year we can.

Happy Haunting,

Mark Harvey
