Well...it only took me seven days to bring up 2020 and the challenges we face for Halloween this year. It's crazy that this year October 31st is on a Saturday, a full moon (a Hunter's Blue Moon), and at 2 am on Sunday, November 1st Daylight Savings Time ends (setting our clocks back to 1 am and gaining an extra hour of sleep). A full moon on Halloween only happens every 18 to 19 years! Essentially this Halloween is a wonderful trifecta, yet so many people are disappointed since (at least where I live) trick-or-treating is not allowed and so many usual Fall functions are being cancelled.
Not so fast though...I found a website that has a very nice "Quarantine Halloween" list (here). Ronnie's Awesome List is chock full of great Halloween events - some virtual, some in person and some suggestions for things to do at home when the mood strikes you.
Check it out!
Happy Haunting!
