It just isn't the Season without a trip to the pumpkin patch. This year my family grew A LOT of pumpkins at my Mother-in-law's house (and a few at ours), but we still needed to get out to the coast for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. We've been going to the same farm for years and like to support them. Making the drive out to Half Moon Bay is a good time and since we've been cooped up we needed the car ride to see the coast and to run around a little.
We found a great pumpkin (not the one photographed) and Farmer John's Pumpkin Farm (here). It's a lot larger than the ones we grew ourselves and will serve as our Jack O' Lantern centerpiece.
With what's going on these days it's challenging to continue the usual traditions. I'm glad we made it out. What traditions are you ensuring you get to this Season? Which ones do you think you might have to skip?Everyone loves time in the pumpkin patch!
Happy Haunting,
Mark Harvey
